Description

Updating Mercury means installing a newer release of the same version over the current installed Mercury. For example, updating can be done from 1.9.4 to 1.9.5.

If you wish to switch to a different version, for example switching from 1.9 to 2.0, the easiest solution is to first remove the old release followed by installing the new release.

Instructions

Updating Mercury is done by overwriting mercury program directory/lib/dMSN.jar by a newer version of the file.

  1. Download the new dMSN.jar, as of writing 1.9.5 dMSN.jar is the newest.
Downloading can best be done by right mouse clicking and choosing save link as or similar

(If you don't know how, click the link)
  3. Move the new dMSN.jar into the lib directory, choose yes when asked if you wish to overwrite the file.
